So I’ve been so focused on SuzySaid lately that I haven’t had much time to write for myself. I’m working hard on organizing and prioritizing (Thanks to Jennifer Zoll, friend and amazing organizer professional!) so that I can try to do a little more of the things I love. Not to say that I don’t love SuzySaid.com. On the contrary, it’s a dream job for me. Or at least it would be if I ever got around to the money-making part! Other than that though, it’s amazing – fun, creative, flexible, wonderful. I LOVE IT!
That said, as typical with my personality-type, my love of writing for SuzySaid has become what some people might call an obsession. Everywhere I go I’m looking to see if there’s a new story – a new product – a new event – a new anything. It’s awesome and has taken us on adventures to places we’ve never been and brought me in touch with amazing people I may never have met (did you see Suzy on CBS19 last night?), but it’s become a little insane. I don’t sleep, I don’t eat (yeah, right!) and I’m definitely not doing enough of the other things I love to do (like exercise – have you seen my butt lately?) Therefore, I am saying this out loud and to the world right now – that I am going to spend more time doing other things!
That means means that I will be here more often – waxing poetic about the ups and downs of life as a stay-at-home-working-mom with one husband, two kids, three pets (one of whom just got stung by a swarm of bees while chasing a turtle) and my many thoughts, dreams, hopes, and loved ones of which often make for great little stories.
Stay tuned for the exciting details of our lives – like how Scout spent the afternoon hiding in the bathtub while I nursed my third ever bee sting. The first was on my tongue at age 17 while drinking a soda at the Homecoming Day parade, the second was between my middle and ring fingers while doing laps in an outdoor pool in college and the third…
See, there really is Never a Dull Moment around here!
