The Charlottesville area has dozens of award-winning wineries, several world-renowned breweries and several cider breweries popping up here and there. Each has its own charm and beauty. What they don’t have is a driver to get from one to the other.
When we go on a tasting tour, we have to choose which friend is going to have to drive the rest of us and not participate fully. WishWish solves this problem – now up to 6 people can get together and hire a driver to take you on the 3-hour tour of your choosing. The total cost of this 3 hour trip is only $100.
Choose your favorite path or go along the tried and winery or brewery tours and get everyone home safely, with your new found bounty from the day.
Don’t forget – we also have some wineries as partners too. The Glass House, First Colony, DuCard. And don’t forget about Starr Hill Brewery.

WishWish keeps growing and growing!
We tout over 200 fun things to do in and around Charlottesville. Do you realize how much fun that is? If you started today, and did every fun thing we have to offer, including multi-day classes, overnight trips and indulgences, you wouldn’t be able to finish everything in a year (and that doesn’t even count all the fun things to come!)
We recently added a few new offerings:
We have had an option for Michie Tavern for a while, but it was only for one person. We now have a $75 voucher that you can use to take a family there, or maybe just you and a couple of friends to go and eat lunch and have some fun. This is all the fun that Michie Tavern has to offer, but the flexibility to do what you want to do with who you want to do it with.
A WishWish exclusive is now offered as an individual offering, but still as exclusive. Have you ever tried to think of the most romantic thing you could do for your lover? A popular answer is a simple serenade. You might sound great in the car singing along to the radio, it doesn’t translate into romance quite as well when you are singing solo to your significant other. Let a professional do the singing and you can hold hands while the surprised eyes listen to the personalized song.
Sometimes it is better to regive than receive. We partner with local nonprofits to let your gift do the giving. Our most recent addition is the UVa Cancer Center with money going to research and services right here in Charlottesville.

How fun is this? Exploring nature’s beauty, experiencing diverse events, and volunteering in hands-on community service projects while forming new friendships? No wonder we are fans of the Outdoor Adventure Social Club. And we are even more excited OASC is a new WishWish partner! If you buy a 1 month membership through WishWish (or spend your WishWish gift card), you save $3. So if you like doing fun things and meeting new people, well…. what are you waiting for?

First Fridays kicks off the weekend with a bang. All the galleries on and around the downtown mall open their doors to showcase what’s hot in art right now. This is a free event and is as cool as it gets. Add on dinner at a hot downtown restaurant (like Tempo) and it is a memorable evening! Make it a luxurious weekend with an Omni add on and it will be unforgettable.
You can’t go wrong with a fun Easter Egg hunt on Easter weekend. The two we know of are at Carter Mountain (complete with stunning views of the Charlottesville area) and another in combination with the Tulip Festival – a showcase of spring beauty complete with an Easter Bunny.
And finally – City Market opens for the season on Saturday. As always, you can expect farm-fresh goodness in all the produce, herbs and plants along with fresh meats and bakery items. With all of this Spring in the air, it also couldn’t hurt to brush up on golfing skills with a quick lesson or two.

A chance for kids to experiment with music: Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra will host the second annual Musical Instrument Petting Zoo. Kids will have a chance to touch and learn to make sounds on instruments. Once the kids pick the instrument, you can sign up for more lessons with Bay1Studios.
Kids in the Kitchen: The Junior League of Charlottesville hosts a huge event to teach kids about healthy living in fun ways that kids will really enjoy. (Way better than Mom & Dad giving a lecture about how they have to eat veggies.) Mom & Dad could also take a gourmet cooking lesson – Terre makes an awesome (and very healthy) meatloaf.
Spring has truly sprung when you see signs of the Easter Bunny. PVCC is hosting a fun Easter egg hunt for the kids. After the hunt, you can take the kids to Bounce-N-Play to bounce to their hearts’ content.
